Radiological emergencies remain a real potential all around the world and can potentially impact any community, whether it is related to an accident, to routine radiological activities or the result of a potential terrorist attack on populations or infrastructure. Radiological incidents require specific planning considerations to identify the proper resources, equipment, procedures, and communications to rapidly adapt the response to address the radiological hazards.
