Are You Ready? Community Members as Responders During a Disaster

Immediate care following an accident or disaster is critical to the chain of survival. You make a difference in preventing severe complications and saving lives! This course educates community members on providing life-saving interventions prior to the arrival of emergency services. The course teaches how to perform essential actions such as controlling bleeding, positioning the injured, and providing comfort following a disaster. Course includes American College of Surgeons (ACS) STOP THE BLEED© training and certification.
