January 28, 2025 - Annual Preparedness Symposia - Registration fee $75

The 2025 Preparedness Symposia will be held January 28, 2025 at the Mid-Plains Community College North Campus, 1101 Halligan Dr. North Platte, NE 69101.

 The 2025 Preparedness Symposia is a day-long workshop that offers a comprehensive overview of critical updates and best practices to enhance preparedness strategies and response capabilities. The Symposia will cover the latest state preparedness updates, CMS updates, roles in tornado response, weather event resources, integrating health equity into disaster planning and healthcare and EMS surge management.

 Check-in for Symposia begins at 8:30 am (coffee/refreshments provided), with the program beginning at 9:00 am.

From time to time the Center takes photos or video of our programs to use in our marketing materials both in print and on the web. By registering, you are giving consent to have your photo used for these purposes. If you DO NOT agree to have your photo used, please e-mail the Center at CPERS@unmc.edu  and we will make arrangements to exclude your photo from use.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable, if you are unable to attend you may send someone else in your place or transfer your registration to another Symposia session. Please notify the Center for Preparedness & Emergency Response Solutions (CPERS@unmc.edu) prior to the event date of any substitutions.
